Plan Transmittal Public Hearing
This public hearing will take place prior to transmitting the plan for state and regional review. The hearing will highlight major changes to the County's Comprehensive Plan and an overview of the plan update process.

Community Survey
An online community survey closed on November 22, 2022. Thank you to all community members that participated! Input collected via the survey will shape plan priorities and policies.

The public open house was an opportunity for community members to review and provide feedback on key elements of the draft plan, including the future development map and the five-year community work program.

Visioning Workshop
At the visioning workshop, the planning team provided an overview of the planning process and highlighted data that underscores the importance of planning for future growth and development. The open house style workshop included several interactive activities for community members to participate and share their perspectives on Greene County’s needs and opportunities.

Public Hearings
Two public hearings with the Greene County Board of Commissioners frame the planning process, with one occurring at the beginning of the planning process and the other occurring when the Comprehensive plan document is updated, prior to state and regional review.
Public Kick-off Hearing
The public kick-off hearing was held at the regular Greene County Board of Commissioners meeting. The hearing included a brief presentation that highlighted the basics about the Comprehensive Plan, information about the planning process, and ways for community members to get involved.
